The client came to us with a project over budget and not sure how best to achieve cost savings. Their brief was to modernise a 120m2 bungalow with a new kitchen, ensuite, study and to improve the indoor–outdoor flow.
We delivered on the brief at two-thirds of the client’s existing building quote. Working with the client, we were able to provide a study solution within the existing footprint and deleted the need for a building extension. We worked with the client to procure trades and fixtures at wholesale rates to save ‘builders margins’.
